How to Calculate the Equipment Efficiency?
The equipment efficiency is calculated on the basis of a list of stops that have to be considered.
Programmed stops are not to be taken into consideration. While non-programmed stop must be considered in the counting.
Here is the formula:
The list of stops is as follows:
| PROGRAMMED STOP | NON-PROGRAMMED STOP | |
| 1 | Lack of product | Sachet break |
| 2 | Lack of compressed air | Sachet stuck in the sealing block |
| 3 | Lack of electricity | Brushless error |
| 4 | Reel changeover | Laminate break |
| 5 | Programmed maintenance/cleaning time | Non-programmed maintenance due to machine failure |
| 6 | Failure in reading the notch because of wrong reel |
