Universal Pack designs packaging machines and lines for chemical powders and granules in stick packs and sachets. Sealing blocks of titanium and carbon.
Universal Pack designs and builds stick pack and sachet packaging machines and cartoning lines for chemical powders and granules. Understanding the needs of our customers is the first step in creating and designing solutions that meet their requirements in terms of flexibility, reliability and efficiency.
Our chemical packaging machines can be equipped for powders and granules with auger or basculating dosing systems. On one hand, auger dosing provides high dosing accuracy of non free-flowing powders. On the other hand, basculating dosing supports high-speed packaging operations and higher output capacity of free-flowing powders and granules. Therefore, the application of auger or basculating depends on product composition, flowability and production requirements.
Moreover, we provide sealing blocks made of titanium and carbon, which enable the packaging of corrosive chemical products.
We design our solutions for chemical powders and granules such as calcium chloride, clay dehumidifier, descaling powder, detergents, fertilizers, flower grower powders, insecticide powders, ironing starch, pest control powders, powder colorants, rat poison granules, scented granules, silica gels and toner.
Our internal laboratory analyzes your product and laminate to design and build the best solution for your needs. After internal tests and a thorough design review, we can manufacture your customized machine.
Specific Types of Powders & Granules
Which Formats are Suitable for Packaging Chemical Powders & Granules?
Our machines and lines are specifically dedicated to single-dose packages like stick packs and sachets. For example, we can dose from 0.1 up to 100 g of chemical powders & granules in a single pack, with dimensions that vary according to your marketing goals, nature of the products and production requirements.
In packaging lines for cartoning, our systems allow you to place from 1 to more than 100 sachets or stick packs in the same carton. We have developed patented counting units for any number of packages to be picked and placed into cartons. In recent years, our philosophy is to save as much material and product as possible, both for economic and environmental sustainability.
Which Laminates are Suitable for Packaging Chemical Powders & Granules?
Our machines can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: PAP-PE (Paper – Polyethylene); PAP-ALU-PE (Paper – Aluminum – Polyethylene); PET-ALU-PE (polyethylene terephthalate – aluminum – polyethylene) and cold-sealable materials. Our machines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (Polypropylene), PLA (Polylactic Acid), PAP (Paper), Bio-PE (Bio-based polyethylene), and more on request.
