Our method defines the path to a successful collaboration. We think, design, test and analyze everything from scratch.
Request
We contact the customer and receive the request. Our team of professionals will evaluate your needs and industry-specific requirements to propose the most suitable customized packaging solution.
Technical Evaluation
The technical evaluation is carried out by the Area Manager (the sales representative responsible for the customer’s market) and supported by the Project Manager and the relevant design departments to develop a technical and commercial offer accompanied by:
- 2D and 3D layouts;
- tests of the physical characteristics of the customer’s product and laminate film to select the most suitable dosing system and machine configuration;
- production tests at the agreed maximum speed, using the customer’s product and laminate film, with high-precision instruments, to check dosing tolerances and sealing strength, even in the toughest conditions.
Technical Brief
Technical definition of the project through a briefing among the technical departments and project management. The technical brief aims to clarify any pending points related to construction and configuration regarding the packaging equipment, including all the special provisions required for fitting the packaging equipment at the customer’s premises (such as feeding connections, layout limitations and and other site-specific constraints).
Project Development, Completely In-House
- Mechanical, electrical and software design;
- Parts Production;
- Assembly and wiring;
- Testing with materials provided by the customer: simulation of the production processes the machine will perform once installed at the customer’s site, checking all items in the technical specifications agreed with the customer.
FAT
Factory Acceptance Testing with the customer. The FAT consists of different tests designed to prove that the equipment complies with the URS. It includes static and dynamic checks as well as finished packaging quality tests.
Installation
Installation includes placing the machine at the customer’s site, performing SAT and training customer personnel. The installation is always carried out by a Universal Pack professional technician who is also responsible for the SAT with the customer and conducting the training program at the customer’s premises, either basic or advanced.
After-Sales Service
After-sales service includes spare parts supply and customer support. Our after-sales service professionals are there to support you with remote assistance and training material.
Consulting
Discussing possible production improvements to the production (e.g. use of new materials) supported by laboratory analysis. The customer journey doesn’t end with machine installation and after-sales service. We are eager to start a partnership that goes beyond the machine purchase. This approach is supported by our recommendations, product tests and laminate film tests to further expand and streamline production.
