Universal Pack has been designing stick pack and sachet packaging machines and cartoning lines for tea and infusions for over 60 years. Our solutions are designed to support high-speed production and high performance in terms of accuracy and high output capacity per minute.
To meet these requirements, we provide your machine with the dedicated basculating dosing system. Another characteristic of our tea machines is the ability to produce rounded sachets, according to your product needs. Moreover, we designed bag in bag sealing block to pack multiple sachets in a single sachet.
Our machines can dose products such as black and green tea, chamomile, classic infusions, infusion tea, rooibos tea and tisanes.
Our internal laboratory analyzes your tea or infusion blend and laminate to design and build the best solution for your needs. After several internal tests and a thorough design review, your customized machine can be manufactured.

Which Formats are Suitable for Packaging Tea & Infusions?
Our machines and lines are specifically dedicated to single-dose packages like stick packs and sachets. For example, we can dose from 0.1 up to 100 g of tea and infusion granules in a single pack, with dimensions that vary depending on your marketing goals, nature of the products and production requirements.
In packaging lines for cartoning, our systems allow you to place from 1 up to more than 100 sachets or stick packs in the same carton. We have developed patented counting units for any number of packages to be picked and placed into cartons. In recent years, our philosophy is to save as much material and product as possible, both for economic and environmental sustainability.
Which Laminates are Suitable for Packaging ea & Infusions?
Universal Pack packaging machines for tea and infusions can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: PAP-PE (paper – polyethene); PAP-ALU-PE (paper – aluminum – polyethylene); PET-ALU-PE (polyethylene terephthalate – aluminum – polyethylene), filter paper and cold-sealable materials. Our machines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (polypropylene), PLA (polylactic acid), PAP (paper), Bio-PE (bio-based polyethene), and more on request.
