Which Dosing Systems are Suitable with our Gamma Flexi Sachet Machine?

Universal Pack can equip Gamma Flexi with flexible formats with different dosing systems, according to your needs and depending on the composition of the product. For this reason, we offer:

  • Auger and basculating for powders and granules;
  • Gravimetric and flowmeter dosing systems for liquids and semi-liquids;
  • Piston-pump dosing systems for liquids, semi-liquids and viscous products.

Easy and fast changeovers allow operators to switch from powders to liquids. For this reason, Gamma Flexi can be equipped with two different dosing systems, according to your needs. Moreover, operators can use one or two dosing systems at a time. We design this solution in order to give you the possibility to package both powders and liquids in the same sachet, in two separate sachets or in twin sachets.

Formats

Universal Pack sachet machines for flexible formats are specifically dedicated to single-dose packages. For example, we can dose from 0.1 to 200 g or ml of product in a single sachet, with dimensions that vary according to your marketing goals, nature of the products and production requirements.

Moreover, we provide you with the possibility to easily integrate your sachet machine into a Universal Pack packaging line for cartoning. Our lines allow you to place from 1 to more than 100 sachets in the same carton. We have developed patented counting units for any number of packages to be picked and placed into cartons. In recent years, our philosophy is to save as much material and product as possible, both for economic and environmental sustainability.

Laminates

Universal Pack Gamma Flexi sachet machines can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: Filter paper, PAP-PE (paper – polyethylene), PAP-ALU-PE (paper – aluminum – polyethylene), PET-ALU-PE (polyethene terephthalate – aluminum – polyethylene) and cold-sealable materials. Our machines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (polypropylene), PLA (polylactic acid), PAP (paper), Bio-PE (bio-based polyethylene), and more on request.

Sustainability

Our continuous research in reducing the packaging industry carbon footprint resulted in streamlined machinery design for packing recycled, recyclable and compostable laminates. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is used to measure the environmental impact of our products and identify optimal ways to reduce it. It is a 360° analysis that goes beyond the mere packaging produced and involves every step of the packaging machinery production process. We develop our solutions in close collaboration with the main global film suppliers and test them in agreement with major multinational companies in order to provide them with a turnkey solution able to produce more sustainable packages.
