When Should I Buy a Vertical Packaging Machine?
VFFS (Vertical form fill sealing machines) are extremely appreciated in the industry thanks to their capability to achieve the highest production outputs in compact footprints as opposed to horizontal packaging machines.
If you are looking for very high production rates of sachets/stick packs on a compact and easy-to-use machine, a VFFS is the right choice for you. In fact thanks to the multilane concept on vertical packaging machines, the production rate can increase dramatically just by adding more lanes, without the binding need for stressing the machine mechanically to achieve greater RPM.
VFFS machines also allow for easy access for maintenance operations: as they develop mostly in height and don’t occupy a large surface on the floor, the technician can practically access all the critical areas from the four sides of the machine with ease.
