Which Dosing Systems are Suitable for Packaging Viscous & Liquids?
Piston-pump filling provides high flexibility with micro-adjustable dose control. This characteristic results in the wide range of products that piston pump can dose, such as viscous, pasty and non-free flowing liquids. We install the pump on an independent pedestal to make it easier to move the pump to a dedicated cleaning area. Moreover, we can provide heated piston cylinders and heated pipes to help prevent product solidification of the product during machine stops or during downtime.
Compared with flowmeter dosing systems, piston-pump dosing solution guarantees not only higher flexibility, but also better system precision and higher operating speed. Moreover, piston pump is a user-friendly volumetric dosing system: e.g. operators only need to adjust one parameter when the density of the product changes.

Formats
Universal Pack pouch machines are suitable for a wide range of doses and packaging styles. For example, we can dose from just a few grams or milliliters up to kilograms or liters of viscous, pasty and non-free flowing liquids in a pouch, with dimensions that vary depending on your marketing goals, nature of the products and production requirements.
Laminates
Universal Pack pouch machines for viscous and liquids can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: PAP-ALU-PE (paper – aluminum – polyethylene), PET-ALU-PE (polyethylene terephthalate – aluminum – polyethylene) and cold-sealable materials. Our machines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (polypropylene), PLA (polylactic acid), PAP (paper), Bio-PE (bio-based polyethylene), and more on request.
