EOL and T&T Module

Our range of secondary packaging machines include even our EOL module, which includes check weigher, print & check and labeling machine for tamper-evident and vignette.

Upon request, we can install this this end-of-line module after the carton closing machine for flat-blank and pre-glued carton lines.

More specifically, we provide this machine with three different stations:

• The first unit checks carton weight. If the carton is noncompliant, the machine pushes it into the reject station;
• After the first check, the carton is transferred to the second station. Here, variable data and Data Matrix (and possibly serialization code) are printed on the cartons. Then the camera vision system (OCV/OCR) verifies variable data and the presence and correctness of the Data Matrix code. Noncompliant cartons are pushed into the second reject station;
• The last unit consists of alabeling unit for tamper-evident or vignette application. A control system detects “the presence and position of tamper-evident labels or vignettes. If the carton is not compliant, the machine pushes it into the third reject station.
• Each reject station includes a sensor to confirm that noncompliant cartons are correctly rejected and a sensor to monitor the reject-bin level.
