Sachet Machine – High-Speed for Powders
Universal Pack designs and builds a wide range of custom-built high speed sachet packaging machines. Our vertical continuous-motion high-speed sachet machines can handle a wide range of powders with micro-adjustable dosing control thanks to our auger dosing system.
They are also suitable for heat-sensitive powders. Longer sealing time supports lower sealing temperatures and helps preserve powder properties by reducing heat exposure. For this reason, we provide sealing jaws designed to increase sealing time and reduce sealing temperature. As a result, this solution ensures optimal quality and high-quality sachets with a clean appearance at the highest output.
We design our high-speed sachet machines according to TPM requirements and hygienic design best practices.
Which Dosing Systems are Suitable for High Speed Packaging Powders in Sachets?
Auger dosing supports accurate filling of dry and dusty powders for free and non-free flowing products with high filling accuracy, according to their needs. At the same time, auger is suitable for products with components that make them lumpy or sticky. Therefore, it is possible to precisely adjust the auger speed and number of auger rotations. This enables fast and simple adjustments of the operating parameters.
Our sachet machines – high-speed for powders provide a compact solution combining high output within a compact footprint. These solutions include many advantages such as high dosing accuracy, reduced wrapping material waste, easy handling and cleaning. Moreover, our user-friendly and modular sachet machines help reduce downtime and meet demanding production requirements.

Types of Packages

Formats
Universal Pack high speed sachet machines are specifically dedicated to single-dose packages. For example, we can dose from 0.1 up to 100 g of all kinds of powders & granules in a sachet, with dimensions that vary according to your marketing goals, nature of the products and production requirements.
Moreover, we provide you with the possibility to easily integrate your sachet machine in a Universal Pack packaging line for cartoning. Our lines allow you to place from 1 to more than 100 sachets in the same carton. We have developed patented counting units for any number of packages to be picked and placed into cartons. In recent years, our philosophy is to save as much material and product as possible, both for economic and environmental sustainability.
Laminates
Universal Pack high speed sachet packaging machines for powders can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: PAP-PE (paper – polyethylene), PAP-ALU-PE (paper – aluminum – polyethylene), PET-ALU-PE (polyethylene terephthalate – aluminum – polyethylene) and cold-sealable materials. Our machines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (polypropylene), PLA (polylactic acid), PAP (paper), Bio-PE (bio-based polyethylene), and more on request.

Sustainability
Our continuous research in reducing the packaging industry’s carbon footprint resulted in streamlined machinery design for processing recycled, recyclable and compostable laminates. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is used to measure the environmental impact of our products and identify optimal ways to reduce it. It is a 360° analysis that goes beyond the mere packaging produced and involves every step of the packaging machinery production process. We develop our solutions in close collaboration with the main global film suppliers and test them in agreement with major multinational companies in order to provide them with a turnkey solution able to produce more sustainable packages.
