This solution complies with hygienic design standards for the pharmaceutical industry and can be equipped with:
- Auger and basculating-cup systems are suitable for pharmaceutical powders and granulated mixes.
- Gravimetric and flowmeter systems are suitable for liquid or semi-liquid products.
- Piston pumps are suitable for pharmaceutical gels, liquids, semi-liquids and viscous products.
Thanks to easy and fast changeovers, operators can switch smoothly from powders to liquids. Depending on product and production requirements, we can equip your Alfa Flexi with the appropriate dosing or filling system.

Types of Packages
Formats
Universal Pack stick pack machines for flexible formats are specifically-dedicated to single-dose packages. For example, we can dose from 0.1 to 200 g or ml in a stick pack, with dimensions that vary depending on marketing goals, product characteristics and production requirements.
In addition, we provide you with the possibility to easily integrate your sachet machine in a Universal Pack packaging line for cartoning. Our lines allow you to place from one to more than 100 sachets in the same carton. We have developed patented counting units for any number of packages to be picked and placed into cartons. Our approach focuses on reducing as much material and product as possible, both for economic and environmental sustainability.
Laminates
Universal Pack stick pack machines for flexible formats can process typical heat-sealable composite films, for example: PAP-PE (paper – polyethylene), PAP-ALU-PE (paper – aluminum – polyethylene), PET-ALU-PE (polyethylene terephthalate – aluminum – polyethylene) and cold-sealable materials. Our lines can also package sustainable laminates such as PP (polypropylene), PLA (polylactic acid), PAP (paper), Bio-PE (bio-based polyethylene), and more on request.

Our continuous research in reducing the packaging industry’s carbon footprint resulted in streamlined machinery design for processing recycled, recyclable and compostable laminates. LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) is used to measure the environmental impact of our products and identify optimal ways to reduce it. It is a 360° analysis that goes beyond the package itself and involves every step of the packaging machinery production process. We develop our solutions in close collaboration with leading global film suppliers and test them in agreement with major multinational companies in order to provide them with a turnkey solution able to produce more sustainable packages.
